i've been staring at a blank page for several days
i've been letting these assignments pile up
they were due a week ago, but i haven't had motivation to do anything but sleep
my therapist says it's pretty normal to be depressed six months after your wife just left and you moved into a college dorm room to pay off and create more outstanding debt

i was so ambitious a few weeks ago
where the hell did all of my ambition go?
i need divine intervention or an amphetamine
i've been blurring the line between being sad and just being lazy
ah!!!!!!

there's no single direction anything seems to go
i've been moving moving moving and i really wanna fall and collapse for a second or two
my friends say i'm a good person and i'm worthy of love, but i'm bad at accepting affection, so i'll just ignore it every time they say it
i want to quit smoking cigarettes so much
i want to finally get around to falling in love
i want to be an academic or drop out and make bad decisions
i want to spend all day with someone i love and stop worrying about the future all so much
oh my god, i sound like every twenty-two-year-old white guy making music
